Aujourd’hui, je vous retrouve pour une nouvelle revue de vernis et celui que j’ai choisi de vous présenter, c’est Birch, de Zoya Nail Polish.
Birch fait partie de la collection Innoncence, sortie courant 2019 et c’est un lavande grisé au fini crème. Moi qui trouve que les vernis aux tons froids ne me vont pas en général, je peux vous dire que Birch est tellement beau que je l’ai porté trois fois de suite!

Le pinceau et l’application
Pour ce qui est du pinceau, le Birch que j’ai acheté est muni du pinceau classique de chez Zoya, donc cylindrique et si en savoir plus sur ce pinceau vous intéresse, je vous renvoie encore une fois à ma revue de Karen, ici 😉
L’application de Birch, malgré ce pinceau qui n’est clairement pas mon préféré, est très agréable. Il s’applique rapidement et facilement, je n’en demande pas plus 🙂
La texture et l’opacité
Birch, comme je le disais plus haut, a un fini mais aussi une texture crème. J’adore la texture crème de chez Zoya! Elle est ultra crémeuse, presque fondante, et elle s’applique avec une telle facilité! Vraiment je suis conquise par cette texture. D’autant que l’application est homogène, en plus Birch s’auto-lisse et ne coule pas. Un vrai régal!
Afin d’obtenir le résultat des photos, je n’ai appliqué que deux couches! J’essaye de m’améliorer sur ce point aussi, n’appliquer que deux couches quand c’est possible, et avec Birch c’est clairement jouable, la preuve!
Le séchage
Alors, autant Karen avait mis du temps à sécher sur moi, autant Birch a séché hyyyper rapidement, ce qui a rendu la manucure encore plus agréable d’ailleurs 😉
Le rendu
Birch est tout simplement superbe et autant je le trouvais magnifique dans le flacon, autant j’avais un doute du rendu sur ma peau. Eh bien, je l’adore! Il est hyper opaque, bien glossy et je ne possédais aucune teinte lavande avant lui.
Côté rendu pur, je pense que vous voyez que Birch a tout de même besoin d’une petite couche de top coat pour bien égaliser le tout. Surtout si, comme moi, vous avez des stries sur les ongles.
La tenue
J’en suis tout à fait satisfaite puisque Birch a tenu 5 jours sur mes ongles, et ce les trois fois où je l’ai porté.
A noter cependant : il a tendance à s’écailler, mais seulement à partir du 5ème jour 😉
Le démaquillage
Je n’ai rien de particulier à dire, mis à part que Birch se démaquille facilement et sans tacher les ongles ou la peau. Il est parfait de ce côté aussi.
Où se le procurer?
J’ai racheté Birch, me semble-t-il, à Hélène (helene___b sur IG) mais vous pouvez le trouver ici, sur la boutique en ligne de enails.eu, pour 10,99€. C’était sur leur site que j’avais acheté Karen et je vous le recommande chaudement 😉

Today, I am back with a new nail polish review and the one I chose to introduce you to in this post is Birch, by Zoya Nail Polish.
Birch belongs to the Innoncence collection which was launched in 2019 and this polish is a greyish lavender with a cream finish. Usually, I find that cool-toned polishes do not suit me but I can assure you that Birch is so gorgeous that I wore it three times in a row!

The brush and the way it applies
When it comes to the brush, the one Birch I bought came with the classic Zoya brush, meaning the cylinder-shaped one and if you want to know more about that brush, once again, please go read my review of Karen, here 😉
Even though the brush of Birch is definitely not my fave of all times, I find that it applies fairly pleasantly. It applies quickly and easily and that’s all I am after when it comes to painting my nails 🙂
The texture and the opacity
As I said above, Birch, has a cream finish but also a cream texture. I adore Zoya’s cream texture so much! It is super creamy, almost melty, and it applies so incredibly easily! I am totally sold on that texture. On top of it all, the application is smooth and absolutely not runy. What a pleasure to work with!
Let me be clear here: I only applied two coats to obtain the finish you saw on the pictures! I am trying to get better at this too and I try applying two coats when a third is not really needed. Well, with Birch, a third coat is definitely unnecessary and here is the proof!
The drying
Karen did not dry down very quickly on my nails, Birch is not like that at all. It dries down oh so quickly and that makes the manicure process even better, right! 😉
The finish
Birch is simply beautiful. When I got it, I found it great in the bottle but I doubted it would look that nice with my skin. Well, I love it on me! It is super duper opaque, highly glossy and it is the only polish I own that has such a shade.
Finish wise only, I think it is easily noticeable that Birch needs a good coat of top coat over it to smooth it all. Especially if you are like me and have nail ridges.
How long did it hold?
I could not be happier with Birch since it hold 5 days on my nails and this is what I noticed every time I wore it.
Something to take note of however: it tends to chip off, but only starting at the end of the 5th day 😉
The removal
I do not have anything specific to say here, besides that Birch removes effortlessly and it does not stain my nails and/or skin. It is perfect on that aspect too.

I bought Birch from Hélène (helene___b on Insta) if I recall correctly but you can find it here, on the online shop of enails.eu, at €10,99. I bought Karen from them and I can only recommend them to you 😉
