Nails for Fun #24 – Pastel Lover 1 / Bourjois, Cirque Colors, Enchanted Polish & Picture Polish

Salut!

Vous l’aviez sans doute deviné en voyant mes derniers billets passer, je vous préparais un nail art pastel! Et en réalité, je serai de retour par ici demain et après-demain pour 2 nail art pastel de plus 🙂

Et ce premier nail art pastel, doux et pailleté, le voici!

Comment j’ai fait?

Vous vous doutez de ce que je vais vous dire, n’est-ce pas? Tout simple! D’ailleurs, MarineLP l’utilise souvent et en a fait plusieurs vidéos sur YouTube, n’hésitez pas à aller jeter un œil 😉

J’ai commencé par appliquer deux couches de Blanc, que j’ai laissé sécher entièrement. Puis j’ai protégé mes contours d’ongles avec du latex liquide.

Ensuite, j’ai ouvert tous mes flacons de vernis devant moi, puis j’ai préparé mon tampon à stamping et j’ai posé une couche bien épaisse de Blanc sur mon tapis à nail art, un peu plus long et large que mes ongles.

Sans attendre que cela ne sèche, je suis venue faire des allers-retours sur Blanc avec chacun des 5 vernis que j’ai utilisés pour ce nail art, en effleurant Blanc. Le but est de ne pas les mélanger mais que l’on voit les traces de pinceau et que les teintes restent justement distinctes. J’ai commencé avec Sorbet, puis Abricot Ouaté, puis Amande Défilé, puis High Line et enfin Sky.

ATTENTION! Toujours bien penser à essuyer son pinceau avant de le remettre dans le flacon! Perso, je l’essuie simplement sur un coin de mon tapis à nail art 😉

Toujours sans attendre que cela ne sèche, j’ai appuyé mon tampon sur ce motif puis je suis venue le tamponner directement sur mon ongle en appuyant. J’ai délicatement retiré le tampon, enlevé le latex liquide et attendu que tout ce petit monde sèche pour appliquer Instant Galaxy sur tous mes ongles et des feuilles d’argent sur mon annulaire.

Une fois le nail art bien sec, j’ai appliqué une couche de top coat 🙂

If you read my previous posts, I am pretty sure that you guessed, right?! I am indeed back today with a pastel nail art! And I will actually be back tomorrow and the day after with 2 additional pastel nail art 🙂

And here is this first pastel, soft and glittery nail art!

Step by step

You know what I am going to say, right? Super easy to do! By the way, MarineLP uses this technique quite often and she even did a few videos using it so do not hesitate checking out her YouTube channel 😉

I started by applying two coats of Blanc, which I let dry down completely. Then I applied some liquid latex to the contours of my nails.

Next, I opened all my polish bottles in front of me and prepared my stamper. I applied a thick coat of Blanc on my nail art mat, just a bit larger and wider than my nails.

Right away, I started going back and forth on Blanc with the brush of the 5 polishes I decided to use for this nail art, barely touching Blanc. The goal is not to mix them but to see the brush streaks and to keep the shades separated from one another. I started with Sorbet and went ahead with Abricot Ouaté, Amande Défilé, High Line and finally Sky.

WARNING! Make sure to always wipe out your brush before putting it back into your nail polish bottle! What I do is wiping it out on a corner of my nail art mat 😉

Still without waiting for anything to dry down, I stamped my design with my stamper and I applied the design to my nail, pushing a bit. I gently removed the stamper, removed the liquid latex and waited for the design to dry down to apply Instant Galaxy on my nails and silver leaves to my ring finger.

When completely dry, I applied a coat of top coat to my nail art 🙂

I hope that you enjoyed this nail art ❤ I will try this technique again with more vivid and bright shades, to get a more defined design but I find this pastel one to be very soft. And you, do you like it?
