Hier, je vous ai parlé de Ocarina Of Time et dans ce billet, c’est d’un autre vernis de la marque dont je vais vous parler : Tiny Ginger Snaps, de Pahlish Nail Polish.

Yesterday, I talked about Ocarina Of Time and I will be introducing you to another nail polish of the brand in the current post: Tiny Ginger Snaps, by Pahlish Nail Polish.

Tiny Ginger Snaps est décrit par la marque comme un vernis crelly intense de teinte rouge rouille et saturé de d’éclats de flakes or. C’est tout à fait ça! Il est à mi-chemin entre le rouge et le brun et ses flakes or lui donnent une superbe profondeur et des reflets magnifiques. J’en suis dingue, vous n’imaginez même pas à quel point ❤

Tiny Ginger Snaps is described by the brand as a vibrant crelly with a rust red shade and it is saturated by crushed gold flakes. That’s a very accurate description! It is the perfect mix of red and brown and its flakes give it a superb depth and wonderful reflects. I am oh so crazy about this nail polish, you cannot even imagine ❤

L’application et le pinceau

Tiny Ginger Snaps s’applique très agréablement car il est aussi facile que rapide à appliquer. C’est un vrai plus pour lui et je vous en dis plus sur le sujet dans les points suivants.

Le pinceau de Tiny Ginger Snaps est identique à celui de Ocarina Of Time, donc je vous renvoie à ma revue dédiée, juste ici😉

The way it applied and the brush

Tiny Ginger Snaps applies very plesantly because not only does it apply easily, it also applies quickly! It is a positive point in my opinion and I will be explaining why it is so pleasant to apply in the next bullet points.

The brush of Tiny Ginger Snaps is the same as Ocarina Of Time’s so I will let you check out my review of it, right here 😉

La texture et l’opacité

La texture de Tiny Ginger Snaps est vraiment chouette. C’est une texture crème-gel très agréable, qui s’applique en un rien de temps et facilement. Je n’ai eu ni bulle, ni trou, ni trace de pinceau à déplorer. C’est une très jolie surprise!

Tiny Ginger Snaps a une couvrance moyenne puisqu’il m’a fallu 3 couches pour obtenir cette teinte profonde. Ceci étant dit, les flakes s’appliquent très bien et ce dès la première couche. C’est simplement que pour obtenir une intensité et une opacité parfaites, j’ai dû appliquer 3 couches.

Texture and Opacity

The texture of Tiny Ginger Snaps is really great. It is a super pleasant cream-gel texture which applies easily and in a blink of an eye. I did not get any bubble, hole or brush streak. It is a lovely surprise!

Tiny Ginger Snaps has a medium coverage as it requires 3 coats to obtain such a deep finish in my opinion. That said, the flakes apply very well and right from the first coat. I simply noticed that I needed to apply 3 coats if I wanted to get perfect intensity and opacity.

Le séchage

Tout comme Ocarina Of Time, Tiny Ginger Snaps sèche très vite. Sans compter qu’il ne devient pas pâteux, du coup il est très facile de repasser sur un endroit sans faire une cata. Ma manucure était terminée, base et top coat inclus, en à peine plus de 10 minutes et perso, je trouve ça génial, pas vous?

The drying

Just like Ocarina Of Time, Tiny Ginger Snaps dries down very quickly on the nails. Plus it does not get goopy so it is super easy to go over a brush pass without making a mess. Base and top coat included, my manicure was finished in just a bit more than 10 minutes and for me it is amazing, what do you think?

Le rendu

Je suis complètement amoureuse de Tiny Ginger Snaps. Sa teinte est absolument unique et alors ses flakes or le rendent vraiment merveilleux. Un vrai bijou!

Petit note : pour les photos, j’ai appliqué une couche de top coat car, sans, il a un petit côté texturé et il n’est pas super super glossy. Je ne suis pas hyper fan du rendu et de toute façon, j’applique toujours une couche de top coat afin de prolonger la tenue 🙂

The finish

I am totally in love with Tiny Ginger Snaps. Its shade is absolutely unique and its flakes, oh Dear, they make it become really marvelous. A true gem!

Side note: for the pictures, I applied a coat of top coat because otherwise it has kind of a textured finish and it is not super super glossy. I am not huge on that finish and I apply a coat of top coat on all my polishes anyway 🙂

La tenue

Tout comme pour Ocarina Of Time, j’ai eu le plaisir de constater que Tiny Ginger Snaps a tenu 6 jours sur moi! C’est une très belle durée et j’en suis enchantée. Surtout qu’il ne s’est affadi ou écaillé à aucun moment! J’adore 🙂

How long did it hold?

Just like Ocarina Of Time, I was happy to notice that I wore Tiny Ginger Snaps for 6 days, without noticing any chipping off or fading! It is a very nice wear time! I love it 🙂

Le démaquillage

Contrairement à ce que l’on pourrait attendre d’un vernis qui est si saturé en flakes, Tiny Ginger Snaps s’est très bien retiré, sans frotter.

Il a juste laissé une toute petite tache jaune sur un de mes ongles de la main droite. Peut-être avais-je oublié cet endroit lors de l’application de ma base. Je ne sais pas. En tous cas, c’est tout ce que j’ai noté donc c’est tout bien!

How did it remove?

Even though one might think that a nail polish that is that saturated by flakes might be tough to remove, Tiny Ginger Snaps actually removed very easily, without having to rub the cotton pas on the nails.

It just stained one of my right hand nails. Maybe had I forgotten a spot when applying my base coat. I don’t know. That’s the only thing I have spotted in any case so all good!

Où se le procurer?

J’ai acheté Tiny Ginger Snaps sur la boutique en ligne de Pahlish Nail Polish, juste ici. J’ai contacté la marque car je ne le trouvais plus sur leur site et ils m’ont confirmé que Tiny Ginger Snaps était une édition limitée mais ils m’ont également confié que pas mal de monde leur a demandé de le refaire alors croisons les doigts!

I bought Tiny Ginger Snaps Pahlish Nail Polish’s online shop, right here. I contacted the brand as I could not find it on the website anymore and they confirmed to me that Tiny Ginger Snaps was a limited edition but they also told me that this polish has been requested quite a lot lately so fingers crossed!
