Salut!

Il y a peu, je vous ai fait un billet de présentation de Lili 121, de DIOR, c’était ici. Et une fois posé, j’ai eu envie de l’accompagner d’un autre vernis de la marque : Sudden 873, un fuchsia vif.

Une fois mon nail art fait, je l’ai photographié toussa toussa, mais j’ai trouvé qu’il lui manquait quelque chose. Qu’il n’était pas « terminé ». Alors je suis allée chercher Première 977, de DIOR aussi, que vous pouvez retrouver dans un billet ici.

Et là, j’étais satisfaite alors je l’ai shooté aussi et je me suis dit qu’au lieu de vous poster le résultat définitif seulement, je pouvais vous proposer les 2 dans le même billet, comme une sorte de manucure évolutive, si on peut dire ça comme ça. J’espère que ce format de billet vous plaira 🙂

Nail art n.1 :Lili et Sudden.

Comment j’ai fait?

Lili était déjà posé sur mes ongles, top coaté et bien bien sec. Très important pour pouvoir appliquer du striping tape sans faire un carnage, c’est le vécu qui vous parle 😉

J’ai appliqué du striping tape là où je le souhaitais, en appuyant bien dessus et en faisant attention à ce que le striping tape soit collé partout, même sur les côtés. Encore une fois, c’est du vécu 😀

Je suis venue appliquer une seule couche assez épaisse de Sudden en-dessous de Lili, sans oublier d’en appliquer en bord libre et j’ai de suite retiré le striping tape. Autre petit conseil : appliquer le striping tape et donc le vernis aussi doigt par doigt sinon les tapes risqueraient de se coller les uns aux autres et de faire une cata.

J’ai laissé sécher ma manucure pendant une vingtaine de minutes, jusqu’à ce que Sudden soit complètement sec, et j’ai appliqué une couche de top coat.

Comment j’ai fait?

J’ai appliqué un fil de striping tape quelques millimètres au-dessus de Sudden, sur Lili, et quelques millimètres en-dessous de Sudden, toujours sur Lili. J’ai essayé de faire en sorte que la future bande de Première que j’allais avoir sur les ongles soit bien centrée, à peu près quoi 😀

Directement avec le pinceau du vernis Première, je suis venue appliquer ce vernis et j’ai directement retiré les deux fils de tape. Ici aussi, j’ai fait un doigt après l’autre.

J’ai laissé sécher une vingtaine de minutes environ et j’ai appliqué mon top coat glossy. Puis j’ai appliqué mon top coat matte de chez Picture Polish.

Not so long ago, I introduced you to Lili 121, by DIOR –here. I was just done applying it that I wanted to transform it into a nail art adding another DIOR nail polish to it: Sudden 873, a vibrant fuchsia.

When my nail art was achieved, I took pictures of it but I found it to be « incomplete ». It was missing something. So I grabbed Première 977, by DIOR -I reviewed it here.

There, I was satisfied so I took pictures of this nail art too and instead of showing you this last version of it only, I thought I could show you the 2 in the same post, kind of like an evolving nail art, if I may say so. I hope that you will enjoy this format of post 🙂

Nail art n.1 :Lili & Sudden.

Step by step

Lili was already on my nails, with some top coat on and it was completely dry. This is oh so important so you can apply some striping tape without making a mess, believe me, I can tell 😉

I applied some tape where I wanted to and pushed it on the nails and made sure to press it everywhere, even on the sides of the nails. Again, I can tell 😀

I applied one single coat of Sudden -quite a thick one- below Lili and on the free edge too. I right away removed the striping tape. Another tip: I applied the tape -and so Sudden too- finger by finger. Otherwise, the tape strings could stick to the other fingers and that could potentially make a mess.

I let my manicure dry for about 20 minutes, until Sudden was fully dried down, and I applied a coat of top coat.

So that was the first part of this nail art. Let’s move on to the rest now 😉

Nail art n.2 : Lili, Sudden & Première and the matte version.

Step by step

I applied a string of striping tape a few millimeters above Sudden, over Lili, and another string of tape a few millimeters under Sudden, still over Lili. I tried making sure that the stripe of Première would be located on the center of my nails, kind of 😀

I applied Première directly with its brush and I removed the strings of striping tape right away. Again, I did so finger by finger.

I let this dry down for about 20 minutes and I applied my glossy top coat. Then, I applied my matte top coat by Picture Polish.
