Nails for Fun #46 – Confetti / Enchanted Polish

Salut!

Il y a quelques jours, je vous ai présenté un 1er nail art, réalisé avec tous les vernis de la Collection Rainbow d’Enchanted Polish, c’était ici. Me revoici me revoilà avec un 2ème nail art, pour lequel j’ai encore une fois utilisé tous les vernis de cette collection 😉

Tout comme la dernière fois, ce nail art se veut tout simple et relaxant. De plus, il nécessite très peu de matériel, juste quelques dotting tools, puisque ce nail art est en réalité un nail art polka dots tout en negative space 🙂

Comment j’ai fait?

J’ai commencé par appliquer une couche de base, que j’ai laissé sécher. Ici, la Ridge Filler de Picture Polish.

Ensuite, je me suis munie de 3 dotting tools différents : un avec une grosse bille, un avec une moyenne et un avec une très petite bille. J’ai également sorti mon tapis à nail art 😉 Sur mon tapis à nail art, je suis venue déposer une goutte de chaque vernis, au fur et à mesure bien sûr. Aussi, petite précision, j’ai fait ce nail art doigt par doigt.

Avec un dotting tool à grosse bille, j’ai commencé par le pouce et Rainbowland, le violet de la collection. J’ai déposé 3 pois complètement aléatoirement en partant du bord libre, puis j’ai continué avec le bleu foncé, le turquoise et ainsi de suite jusqu’au jaune. J’ai fait attention à rester au niveau du bord libre et à ne pas monter plus haut qu’un millimètre au-dessus.

Puis, j’ai pris mon dotting tool à bille moyenne et j’ai répété l’opération exactement de la même façon. J’ai commencé avec le violet et j’ai posé les pois complètement aléatoirement en finissant par le jaune. Encore une fois, j’ai fait attention à ne pas monter trop haut sur l’ongle car je voulais monter graduellement les petits pois et laisser un beau negative space.

Avant-dernière étape, j’ai pris mon dotting tool à petite bille et j’ai fait exactement la même chose qu’avec les deux autres dotting tools, en superposant un peu moins les pois cette fois, afin de laisser apparaître mon negative space et de laisser un grand negative space.

Enfin, après avoir attendu un peu moins d’une heure, j’ai posé une couche de top coat et c’était terminé!

Hello!

A few days ago, I posted a 1st nail art using the nail polishes of the Rainbow Collection by Enchanted Polish –here. I am back today with a 2nd nail art, for which I have again used the entire Rainbow Collection 😉

Just like last time, this nail art is definitely easy to do and very relaxing. In addition, it requires very minimal equipment -just a few dotting tools actually- as this nail art is a polka dot nail art on a negative space 🙂

Step by step

I started by applying a coat of base coat, which I let dry down completely. For this nail art, I used the Ridge Filler by Picture Polish.

Next, I picked three different dotting tools: one with a large ball, one with a medium one and one with a tiny ball. I also grabbed my nail art mat 😉 On my nail art mat, I poured a large drop of each nail polish, shade by shade of course. Also, little precision, I did this nail art finger by finger.

With a large ball dotting tool, I started by doing this nail art on my thumb, applying Rainbowland -the purple nail polish- first. I did 3 dots completely randomly starting from the free edge, then I went ahead with the blue, the teal and like so until the yellow. I paid attention staying in the free edge area and not to exceed 1mm above the free edge.

Then, I grabbed my medium ball dotting tool and I did the exact same thing as I did with the large ball one. I started with the purple polish and I dotted completely randomly finishing with the yellow polish. Once again, I made sure not to go too high on the nail because I wanted to leave space for the dots, going up gradually, and also to leave some negative space.

Last step before the last one, I took my tiny ball dotting tool and did the exact same thing again, but I made sure not to overlap the dots that much this time so I could get that large negative space.

Finally, I waited for a bit less than an hour and I applied a coat of top coat. This nail art was done!
