Salut!

Hier, je vous parlais de Green Love de Kure Bazaar, ce superbe vert forêt que vous pouvez retrouver ici sur le blog. Et aujourd’hui, c’est pour vous montrer le nail art qu’il m’a inspiré que je reviens ici 🙂 Vous le savez, je suis une grande adepte des nail arts graphiques, géométriques et abstraits à main levée. Eh bien c’est justement avec un nail art graphique que je vous retrouve dans ce billet et j’espère qu’il vous plaira!

Côté matériel, vous n’aurez besoin que de striping tape ou scotch et d’un pinceau fin à nail art 😉

Comment j’ai fait?

J’avais déjà Green Love sur les ongles et il était top coaté. Un conseil que je peux vous donner si vous allez réaliser un nail art nécessitant du striping tape/scotch, c’est de toujours appliquer une couche de top coat avant car à moins que votre manucure ne soit de la veille, votre vernis ne sera jamais assez sec pour y poser du tape, alors une bonne couche de top coat et go!

J’ai commencé par séparer mon ongle en deux dans le sens de la longueur, avec du striping tape. Puis j’ai posé 2 petits bouts de tape de façon perpendiculaire au premier.

De là, directement avec le pinceau de chaque vernis, je suis venue poser le vernis camel, le vernis turquoise et le vernis holo. J’ai retiré le tape de suite.

Dernière étape avant le top coat final, avec un pinceau fin, je suis venue combler le vernis holo afin qu’il colle le vernis camel; je suis venue aussi combler le vernis camel afin qu’il colle au vernis turquoise; et afin de donner l’illusion que ce dernier est en réalité sous le camel, je suis venue ajouter une toute petite touche de turquoise, ce petit carré que vous voyez près du vernis holo, tricheuse je suis quoi! 😉

J’ai laissé mes ongles sécher pendant une dizaine de minutes et j’ai posé une couche de top coat.

Yesterday, I introduced you to Green Love by Kure Bazaar, this stunning forest green which you can find here on my blog. And today, I am back to show you the nail art that it inspired me 🙂 You know it, I am a huge fan of graphic, geometrical and freehand abstract nail arts. Well, today’s nail art is a graphic one and I hope that you will enjoy it as much as I did!

As far as tools, you will only need some striping tape or scotch tape and a thin nail art brush 😉

Step by step

I already had Green Love on the nails and I had a coat of top coat on. One piece of advice that I can give you if you are about to do a nail art that requires some striping tape/scotch tape is to always add a coat of top coat because unless you did your mani the day before, your nail polish will never be dry enough to not be damaged by the tape so a good coat of top coat and go!

I started by dividing my nails into two by applying some striping tape vertically. Then, I applied two other strings of tape to the side of the first one, horizontally this time.

From there, right with the brush of the nail polishes, I applied the camel nail polish, the teal one and the holo one. I removed the tape right away.

Last step before the final coat of top coat, I used a thin nail art brush to add some holo polish, in order to have it right next to the camel one; I did the same thing with the camel polish to be next to the teal one; and then, I also added a little square of teal polish, in order to make the camel shade to look like it overlaps the teal one. I think that this makes me a cheater! 😉

I let my nails dry for about 10 minutes and I threw on a coat of top coat.
