Salut!

Nouveau billet aujourd’hui pour vous montrer ce petit bijou qui était sorti pour Halloween et qui ne fait pas partie de ma sélection de vernis pour l’automne mais que j’avais follement envie de porter et de vous montrer : Happy Haunts, d’Enchanted Polish.

Alors, je sais je sais, il n’est plus disponible sur le site de la marque donc si vous l’avez loupé ou que vous le découvrez dans cet article et qu’il vous plaît, vous ne pourrez pas le trouver. Seulement je ne peux pas ne pas vous le montrer, d’autant qu’il y aura peut-être un restock un de ces jours, on ne sait jamais 🙂

Donc donc donc, Happy Haunts est un vernis qui est sorti avec la collection Halloween de cette année d’Enchanted Polish et c’est un violet foncé aux reflets et à l’irisé fuchsia. Une beauté!

Le pinceau et l’application

Comme pour tous les Enchanted Polish, le pinceau de Happy Haunts est un peu plus long que la moyenne, fin, de forme cylindrique et coupé droit au bout. Je vous le dis à chaque fois : ce n’est pas mon type de pinceau préféré. Mon préféré étant celui de chez DIOR, car il est court, plat, de forme arrondie au bout mais j’aime tellement les vernis Enchanted Polish que je m’en accommode 😉

La texture et l’opacité

J’ai trouvé la texture de Happy Haunts dingue, il n’y a pas d’autre mot. Les vernis Enchanted Polish ont une texture, pour ceux de ma collection du moins, plutôt gel-crème, parfois même un peu liquide. Happy Haunts, lui, est clairement une crème, bien épaisse. J’adore j’adore j’adore!

Côté opacité, Happy Haunts est hyper opaque. En deux couches, j’obtenais ce que vous voyez sur les photos car oui, sur les photos, je n’ai appliqué que deux couches! Il est crémeux à souhait, il est couvrant, que du positif.

Le séchage

Happy Haunts est comme Fall Semester, dont je vous ai parlé ici, il sèche vite mais pas trop. Si vous avez besoin de rectifier quelque chose, vous pouvez, il ne fera pas de pâté.

Le rendu

Sur les photos, Happy Haunts est tout nu, dénué de tout top coat et vous voyez qu’il est très beau comme il est et qu’il brille parfaitement.

La tenue

Encore un point qui m’a beaucoup plu chez Happy Haunts, sa tenue. Il s’est révélé tenir 6 jours complets sur mes ongles et au bout du 6ème jour, il ne s’est pas écaillé mais il a commencé à s’estomper au niveau du bord libre donc parfait pour moi.

Le démaquillage

Dernier point et non des moindres : le démaquillage. Happy Haunts s’est retiré facilement, sans tacher mes ongles et mes doigts, sans laisser de holo nulle part. Franchement, ce petit Happy Haunts me ravit à tous points de vue.

Où se le procurer?

Comme je vous le disais, il n’est plus disponible pour le moment puisqu’il faisait partie d’une collection vendue sur 3 jours me semble-t-il, mais la marque fera peut-être un restock prochainement alors restez connectés!

Today’s post is dedicated to a true gem that was released for Halloween and even though this one is not part of my fall polishes selection, I was dying to wear it and to show it to you. I am talking about Happy Haunts, by Enchanted Polish.

Yeah, I know I know, it is not available on the brand’s online shop anymore so if you missed it or if you discover it with my post and you like it, you will not be able to find it. But I cannot not show it to you, especially because it might be that there is a restock in the future, who knows?! 🙂

So so so, Happy Haunts is a nail polish which was released in the Enchanted Polish 2018 Halloween collection and it is a dark violet with a fuchsia sheen. It is so beautiful!

The brush and the way it applies

Just like any other Enchanted Polish, Happy Haunts‘ brush is a bit longer than most of the brush of other brands, it is thin, of round shape and cut straight at the end. I repeat myself everytime : not my favorite type of brush. My favorite one you know it now is DIOR polishes’ brush because it is short, flat and of round shape at the end but I love Enchanted Polish lacquers so much that I live with it 😉

The texture and the opacity

I found the texture of Happy Haunts insane, there is no other word I can use to describe it. The Enchanted Polish lacquers I own have a gel-cream texture which sometimes tends to be a bit liquid depending on the shade. Well, Happy Haunts is clearly a thicker cream. I love it!

As far as the opacity goes, Happy Haunts is super duper opaque. I got the finish you see on the pictures after I applied two thin coats. It is so creamy, so full-coverage, what more can I say?!

The drying

Happy Haunts is alike Fall Semester on this point -my blog post review on it is here, it dries very quickly but not too quickly either. If you need to rectify something, you have enough time to do so without ending up with ‘holes’ or a goopy finish.

The finish

On the pictures Happy Haunts is naked, meaning I did not apply any top coat over it so you can see for yourself how gorgeous and how shiny it naturally is.

How did it hold?

Another thing I very much enjoyed about Happy Haunts: its holding power. It held a good 6 days on my nails and the day after it started fading away towards the tips of my nails but I did not spot any chipping or anything that can make a manicure look very messy. That’s all I am asking for from my polishes.

The removal

Last but not least: the removal step. Happy Haunts is very easy to remove. It did not stain neither the skin around my nails nor my nails themselves and it did not leave any holo. Happy Haunts is perfect, that’s it!

Where can you find it?

Well, like I said, it is not available for now because it was part of a collection that was available for 3 days only I believe but it might be that the brand gets a restock at some point so stay tuned on their website/Instagram account!
