Le vernis du moment // Currently on my nails #57 – Urbanized, Cirque Colors

Bonjour!

Pour ce nouveau billet, j’ai envie de vous parler d’un vernis que j’ai porté plusieurs fois cet automne parce-que je l’adore, je veux bien sûr parler de Urbanized, de Cirque Colors.

Urbanized fait partie de la collection Metropolis Fall & Winter 2017 et est décrit par la marque comme un jaune moutarde épicé au fini crème. Je n’ai rien à ajouter à cette description 😉 C’est une teinte vraiment magnifique. Pas unique en son genre (je vous ai fait une revue de Camel de Kure Bazaar il y a quelques temps, je vous la mets juste ici. Camel est dans le même style qu’Urbanized, pas identique, pas un dupe, mais il s’en approche quand même 😉 ).

L’application

Les vernis Cirque Colors au fini crème sont tous extrêmement agréable à appliquer et Urbanized ne déroge pas à cette règle 😉

La texture et l’opacité

Urbanized a la texture crème de chez Cirque Colors que j’aime tant. La pose est facile, rapide, homogène, auto-lissante, agréable, j’adore!

Pour ce qui est de l’opacité, Urbanized n’a rien à envier à ses frères et sœurs de la marque. J’ai appliqué trois fines couches pour obtenir le résultat des photos mais en deux couches sensiblement plus épaisses, le résultat aurait été parfait aussi 🙂

Le séchage

Le séchage. En deux mots : ultra rapide! Se mettre du vernis, c’est bien; que ce vernis sèche en une poignée de secondes, c’est encore mieux! Du coup bah j’adore, forcément 🙂

Le rendu

Sur les photos, je n’ai pas appliqué de top coat sur Urbanized, comme à mon habitude et je pense que vous voyez à quel point il est glossy. Un vrai miroir!

La tenue

Urbanized tient 5 jours sur moi, ce qui est tout à fait convenable à mes yeux et ce qui correspond à la tenue moyenne que j’ai constaté avec mes Cirque Colors.

De plus, Urbanized ne s’écaille pas et ça, je pense que vous serez d’accord avec moi, c’est top!

Le démaquillage

Côté dissolvant, Urbanized se retire comme il se pose : en un clin d’oeil et surtout, SURTOUT sans jaunir les ongles!

In this new post, I want to talk to you about a nail polish that has been a fall staple for me this year: Urbanized, by Cirque Colors.

Urbanized was launched with the 2017 Fall & Winter Metropolis collection and is described by the brand as a spicy mustard yellow with a cream finish. I do not have anything more to say about it 😉 This shade is absolutely stunning. I would not call it unique -I reviewed Camel by Kure Bazaar some time ago, here is my post about it. Camel is in the same vein as Urbanized, yet it is not the same, it is not a dupe, but it is close to it as far as the shade 😉 ).

How does it apply?

Cirque Colors polishes that have a cream finish are all extremely pleasant to apply and Urbanized is just as pleasant 😉

The texture and the opacity

Urbanized has that Cirque Colors cream finish that I love so much. It applies easily, quickly, smoothly, pleasantly, I am in love, that’s it!

As far as the opacity goes, Urbanized is as opaque as its brothers and sisters. I applied three thin coats to obtain the finish you can see on the pictures but the result would have been just as perfect with two slightly thicker coats 🙂

The drying

How can I describe the drying step? In three words: super duper quick! Painting my nails is great, but achieving a manicure in a few seconds is awesome! I am a fan 🙂

The finish

On the above pictures and as per usual, I have not applied any top coat over Urbanized and I am pretty sure that you can tell for yourself how shiny it is. I can almost see myself!

How long did it hold?

Urbanized wore for 5 days on my nails and this is totally fine by me, especially because it corresponds to the average holding power of the Cirque Colors polishes I own.

In addition, Urbanized did not chip off and I am sure you will all agree with me on this one: that’s awesome!

The removal

When it comes to the removal step, I have to say that Urbanized removes as it applies: in a blink of an eye and WITHOUT staining my nails in yellow and that’s pretty cool, right?!
